The Halbmond-Clique was founded in 1964 as an initiative of the men's choir to revitalise the carnival in the countryside. The Halbmond Clique not only takes part in the carnival in the countryside, but also in the Basel carnival. And for more than 50 years, the tambourines and pipers from Frenkendorf have been delighting audiences every year at their own pre-carnival event, the HC Plausch. The Halbmond Clique Frenkendorf cultivates cohesion from the youngest to the oldest active members, enlivens village life at many club events and regularly takes part in the various drum and piper festivals.
Schlebach AG has been equipping the tambourines from Frenkendorf with customised wooden drums and accessories for many years and also carries out the upcoming overhauls.
