the Tambourenverein Burg Unterbäch was founded in 1976 and pipers were also integrated from 1979. The tambourines and pipers from Unterbäch wear the historic traveller's uniform from the 15th/16th century for their performances. In addition to performances at religious and secular festivals in the village, the association's main events include regional and national drum and piper festivals, community concerts and district festivals with their own competitions. The tambourine section from Unterbäch is extremely successful at competitions and has already won several awards in the S2 category.
In 2018, Schlebach AG was able to completely overhaul the existing club drums of the tambourines from Unterbäch and also build new club drums.
