The Rotstab-Clique was founded in 1930 and today its two main activities are the carnival and Banntag. The Rotstab-Clique not only takes part in the carnival in the countryside, but also in the Basel carnival. in 1933, the first pre-carnival event in Liestal took place in the "Uhu" cinema. This gave rise to the now well-known and indispensable Rotstab-Cabaret. Today, the Rotstab-Clique has around 160 active members and the Junge Rotstab has around 25 young people.
Schlebach AG is delighted to count the tambourines of the Rotstab-Clique Liestal among our loyal customers and to have been able to build them many customised top instruments in recent years.
