The Tambouren- und Pfeiferverein Visp was founded in 1929. Since then, the association has taken part in various religious and secular celebrations in Visp as well as in the Upper Valais and federal drum and piper festivals, where they wear their historic uniform of the "de Courten" regiment from 1691.
in 2021, Schlebach AG was allowed to equip 12 club drums of the TPV Visp with new thin-walled wooden frames and 3-stage string locks including top stringing.
