The Saas-Grund drum and piper association was founded in 1953. Since 1974, they have worn the uniforms of the Royal Guard Regiment in France of the 3rd Swiss Regiment of 1830 for their performances. The association performs at religious and secular events in the village and takes part in the annual Oberwalliser Tambouren- und Pfeiferfest, which they organised for the last time in 2016.
Schlebach AG is delighted that it was able to build 15 new wooden drums for TPV Saas-Grund in 2017 and is proud that the tambourines from Saas-Grund have been a regular customer of Schlebach AG ever since.
