The Tambourenverein Murten was founded in 1932 and early on developed a close co-operation with the Stadtmusik Murten, which was founded in 1879. Today, competitions, participation in the Soli and the carnival in Murten are special highlights of the club year, during which the tambourines also like to wear their historic uniform.
In 2020, Schlebach AG delivered 20 aluminium drums for the young tambourines of the Tambourenverein Murten, followed by the complete overhaul of 12 wooden drums in 2022.
