Every year, around 190 young musicians benefit from training in the recruit and cadre schools of Swiss military music. Those responsible for training guarantee high-calibre, modern training and thus create the conditions for successful performances in the military games. In short and intensive training modules, cadres, trumpeters, tambourines and drummers are trained to become confident instrumentalists as well as leaders and instructors. In addition, they have the opportunity to create unforgettable memories through numerous assignments such as concerts, flag ceremonies and tattoos.
Since 2006, Schlebach AG has been allowed to manufacture personal aluminium marching drums for all tambourines of the Swiss Army, which they are allowed to keep even after the end of their service. Schlebach AG is also responsible for the maintenance of the Swiss Army's wooden drums and for the overhaul of all army drums - we would like to take this opportunity to thank the Swiss Army for their trust in our products and services.
