The Kreismusik Limmattal consists of a brass corps and a drum group. In addition to marches and compositions on the traditional Basel drum, the repertoire of the tambourines from the right-hand side of the Limmat Valley also includes performances involving other percussion instruments. They perform together with the brass corps of the Kreismusik, the Stadtjugendmusik Schlieren or at other performances alone or with other music associations.
Since 2017, Schlebach AG has been able to equip the tambourines of Kreismusik Limmattal with various aluminium drums of different diameters and regularly builds the members' personal wooden drums.
