The Tambourenverein Langenthal was founded in 1948. According to the statutes of the time, the association was formed for the purpose of training capable drummers and fostering camaraderie. The official rehearsal materials were defined: Fundamentals, marches to order, club marches and artificial drums. And it is probably thanks to these goals that Tambourenverein Langenthal is now one of the established S2 sections in the Swiss drumming scene.
