The E.E. Zunft zu Weinleuten was first mentioned in a document in 1233 and is one of the four Basel trade guilds (gentlemen's guilds). It is actively involved in social life in Basel and organises several guild events every year. It is always accompanied by its guild drumming.
Schlebach AG was commissioned to build 10 new thin-walled wooden drums for E.E. Zunft zu Weinleuten in 2020. As a special feature, the "Gelte", a drinking vessel that serves as a symbol of the guild's coat of arms, was painted on the frames.
