The Tambourenverein Domat/Ems was founded in 1931 and is one of the largest pure tambourine sections in Switzerland. Around 100 tambourines are now active in the various groups - from beginners to old guard. In its long history, Tambourenverein Domat/Ems has achieved great success at various regional and national competitions. In addition to competing, however, the main objectives of the association are good camaraderie and the preservation of drumming as a cultural asset.
In 2014, Schlebach AG was allowed to overhaul the wooden drums from Tambourenverein Domat/Ems and equip them with 3-stage string locks, among other things. And in 2019, Schlebach AG was able to supply the young drummers from Tambourenverein Domat/Ems with 45 new aluminium drums in various sizes.
